ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jami Deise writes humorous women’s fiction and mysteries. Being a baseball mom for 15 years led to her first novel, KEEPING SCORE (2013), about crazy travel ball parents. Her second novel, THE TIES THAT BLEED, is about a vampire assassin for the FBI, although she personally has little experience slaying vampires. Her forthcoming book, HOUSE DIVIDED, is due out 11/08/2017, the first anniversary of the 2016 Presidential elections. When she’s not writing, Jami sells houses for Century 21 in St. Petersburg, Florida. She’s represented by Rachel Beck at Holloway Literary.
House Divided is a humorous yet real look at the ugly side of politics through the eyes of one family caught in the middle. Another winning novel by Jami Deise!Caroline Fardig
House Divided was fast-paced and engaging. It was also very well-written. I would recommend this book to any fans of women’s fiction, as long as they don’t take their politics too seriously!Chick Lit Chickadees
This book was so entertaining! The dialogue was spot on. The writing style was immersive, eloquent, and smooth. The storyline made sense. The characters were detailed and interesting – flawed and everything. I loved this story and the writing style and can’t wait to read the next book from Deise.Rachel Barnard
House Divided was, I felt, a timely reminder of how political loyalties can divide even the most tight-knit of families. Well-written and easy to read.Grant Leishman
