Review by Rachel Barnard

Jami Deise’s novel, House Divided, was reviewed by Rachel Barnard.

Excerpt:

“My life is so different from Erin’s life. I learned so much about the chaos of working motherhood, stay-at-home parenting, living above your means, trying to keep up with the upper class, and so much more! This book had so many world building details and insights into the lives of these unique characters. I felt like I learned so much!

This book was so entertaining! The dialogue was spot on. The writing style was immersive, eloquent, and smooth. The storyline made sense . The characters were detailed and interesting – flawed and everything.

I loved this story and the writing style and can’t wait to read the next book from Deise.”

About Jami Deise

Jami Deise writes humorous women’s fiction and mysteries. Being a baseball mom for 15 years led to her first novel, KEEPING SCORE (2013), about crazy travel ball parents. Her second novel, THE TIES THAT BLEED, is about a vampire assassin for the FBI, although she personally has little experience slaying vampires. Her forthcoming book, HOUSE DIVIDED, is due out 11/08/2017, the first anniversary of the 2016 Presidential elections. When she’s not writing, Jami sells houses for Century 21 in St. Petersburg, Florida. She’s represented by Rachel Beck at Holloway Literary.
